Great place to hang out. Food was good. Tried the $12 cheeseburger on Wednesday night special. Perfectly cooked. Sweet potato fries with praline dip is a must try. The sweetish and warm dip was a revelation. Guinness was perfect as always. Service was great. Ambience with large tv sets was cool. Overall - great place to hang out.

We have been to the Bennigans many times in Elgin, but our last visit was truly remarkable our server. Daniela was quite possibly the kindest and nicest personal personable server we have ever had her kindness and attending to precision was truly remarkable her positive attitude was warm and welcoming. She made us truly want to come back again and again, she was extremely accommodating to my wife’s allergies to gluten , reassuring us that everything we ate was safe for my wife to eat she was kind, responsible and extremely wonderful we definitely will be back again and again. We need more people in the world like her.

Was greeted with nothing but love from the moment I walked in. Never been to a Bennigan’s before but now have reason to re-visit my meal was superb and they even got my special order drink made to the tee! Tasted perfect if not even better. Big shout out and thanks to Rami and my waitress Mary! Will definitely return to at least this location so if you’re in the area make an effort to stop by they won’t disappoint!

Thought all Bennigan's were gone. I am thrilled to know that one is still exists in Elgin! It is so worth the drive (for me) to have a true Monte Cristo again! The food is so good! Staff is so friendly and attentive!

The staff here are fantastic. They were very accommodating of our kids. They checked in regularly and also held the door for us on the way out. The food was meh, not something that would make me come here again. Alot of the food lacked seasoning. As long as you are fine with that then no problems. No major complains about atmosphere, its what you expect of a bar.
